About us

We've been building hunting gear for 20 years, and let's be real—there's a lot of junk out there. Boots that fall apart halfway through the season. Jackets that leak the second you need them. "High-performance" insulation that leaves you standing there freezing your ass off. We got tired of dealing with it. So we started Hillman to build gear the right way.

We don't design this stuff in some office and hope it works. Every piece gets hammered in the field first. Sub-zero mornings. Long days through punishing terrain. The kind of conditions that destroy most gear. If it can't handle it, it doesn't make the cut.
