These clothes are fantastic quality. I own an apparel brand myself in another industry so I dare I say my perspective might be a little more informative, And this is a quality garment. Bravo. So much better than the synthetic, hormone disrupting garbage clothes you see everywhere else.

I purchased the 60L hunting Jacket. The Quality is Great! Love the texture. The fit is snug so size up for base layers or lose weight as I am doing! My fit is snug but am still able to use mesh base layer without problem. The design is exceptional. The shipping took a bit more than a week to California but raised my anticipation during that time.

Great boots, they slip on like a slipper and tighten right up with a few twists. Pop the boa and your foot slips right out. Easiest boots I have ever had taking on an off. Nice support and good grip on the ice.

Only negative so far is they don't come in a wide. I'm a 12.5 4E and had to order a 13.5 and still a bit tight side to side.
I was skeptical about ordering these boots. Price seemed a bit steep. But when I wore them for the first time in 22 degree weather I was convinced I made the correct decision. Kept my feet warm the complete time in my stand. Right out of the box they were the most comfortable boot ever. The lightest boots I have ever worn. Felt like I had worn them for months and broken them in. Sliding them on and off was easily achieved. Completely satisfied.

I suffer from Raynaud syndrome in my fingers and toes from working with my hands and standing on ladders for long periods of time. While I have not found a solution for my hands as I must expose them from time to time while working outside, the Hillman Aerogel boots have protected my feet. The price made it a hard decision to buy them, but the results and my comfort was worth it.

I just received my order a few days ago and have only worn them around home but I already know I'm going to love them. Very comfortable and warm but not bulky. I'll be putting them to the test soon hunting chukars and working the trap line. I have no worries these will be my go to winter outdoor pants. I'm 5'9" and 185lbs and medium fits perfectly.

Bought the Alpha boots to replace an aging pair of Sorels. I liked the cobra lacing and the insulation. Wore them on my Kansas deer hunt. Very comfortable and provided excellent support when walking. The felt instantly comfortable when I put them on. The boots have just enough room for heavy socks. Easy to put on and lace up as well as taking them off. Excellent purchase.

I’ve had my Hillman boots for 3 years now and I wear them 4-5 days every week and walk miles in them. They are finally showing their age and I’ll need a new pair next year. For the average hunter who only wears these for a month out of the year, they’ll last 15-20 years if taken care of. I have to admit I have not taken the best care of them and they still went 3 plus years and probably over 1,000 miles in these boots training dogs, countless field trials and trips to Montana for pheasant hunting.

Extreme Cold Weather hunting Clothes | Mid Layers
Hillman mid layers for extreme cold weather hunting. Insulated hoodies, camo pants, and jackets are designed to keep hunters warm and mobile.
The woods change when winter takes over. Breath hangs in the air, boots crunch over frozen ground, and every sound seems sharper in the cold. For hunters, those are the moments when gear matters most. Hillman created its line of extreme cold weather hunting clothes to answer that challenge. These clothes and versatile mid layers are designed to lock in warmth between your base layer and outer layer, giving you the edge to stay steady and alert long after the temperatures drop.
Cold Weather Hunting Gear That Earns Its Place
Good hunters trust their instincts, great hunters trust their gear as well. Cold weather hunting gear should never be a gamble. Hillman tests its designs in punishing conditions so you can rely on them when the cold turns cruel. The 3ML Merino Wool Hunting Hoodie is a prime example: soft, quiet, and able to release moisture while holding body heat. Add the 4IL Hunting Down Jacket, a packable puffy with 1000FP insulation, and you carry the power to push through subzero mornings without carrying bulk.
Pit zips, fitted hoods, and camo fabrics are not added for show. They are details built for the hunt. When snow covers the forest floor and stillness becomes the game, this clothing keeps you warm without giving away your presence.
Built for Extreme Cold Hunts
On a cold ridge before sunrise, you quickly learn the difference between average clothing and serious protection. The wind cuts, the snow soaks, and time seems to slow. Hillman mid layers are made for those hours. The 2 in 1 Backpack Hoodie blends insulation with storage, keeping essential gear close while shielding your core. The 6OL Insulated Camo Hunting Pants add waterproof strength and silent durability, letting you move over ice-crusted ground without drawing attention.
From reinforced seams that fight abrasion to fleece-lined pockets that thaw stiff hands, every choice in design is meant to help hunters stay focused. Even blaze orange trims, ear flaps, and face masks serve a dual purposeр, safety without sacrificing concealment. When the job is to stay in the hunt no matter what the sky throws at you, these types of clothes are the armor you want.
Mid Layer Hunting Clothes That Keep Hunters Moving
The mid layer is where balance lives. Too warm and you sweat, too thin and the cold takes over. Hillman solves that puzzle with flexible merino blends, fleece, and bamboo, rather than synthetic insulation, that stays effective even in wet conditions. Pair a mid-layer with the 2BL Merino Base Layer Long Johns, and you create a system that holds heat, controls moisture, and still lets you climb, crawl, or sit motionless without restriction. Hunters know movement can be sudden; this gear makes sure you are ready.
From Base Layer to Outer Layer Protection
The smartest cold-weather system works in layers. Start with a base layer to pull moisture from your skin. Add Hillman mid layers for warmth that adapts to your body. Finish with an outer layer like the 6OL Heated Waterproof Hunting Jacket, built for snow, wind, and freezing rain. Each part plays a role, and together they form a shield. Conditions may shift during a long day in the stand, but with the right sequence, you stay comfortable, dry, and prepared.
Comfort When the Cold Bites
It is not enough to stay warm; comfort decides how long you last. Hillman mid layers use articulated sleeves for natural movement, fleece panels for quiet flexibility, and vent systems to escape excess heat. Combine them with insulated boots, socks, gloves, and headwear, and you have a system that keeps every part of your body protected. Long sits in the snow becomes manageable, not miserable. That comfort turns into focus, and focus leads to success in the field.
Ready for the Harshest Conditions
Winter hunts do not forgive weakness. Poor seams split, cheap fabrics soak through, and bulk slows you down. Hillman builds cold-weather hunting clothes that resist all of it. Jackets, pants, hoodies, and vests in this collection are more than clothing; they are part of the hunt itself. They help you stay hidden, stay warm, and stay out there long enough to finish the job. Explore Hillman’s extreme cold weather hunting clothes and mid layers today, and head into the wild fully prepared.
