99.9% of membranes out there are solid hydrophilic membranes that don’t offer direct breathability. This is my first time wearing pants like this. Interesting and practical, I need to get used to them and try wearing them with a base layer or summer pants, maybe they will stretch out!? I have a narrow waist and athletic legs, so there is a lot of free space in the waistband, but my legs are comfortable. The garment sizes a bit small in my experience. Not as silent as I expected. I bought a second pair a size up and they are great. Just enough room to move freely and layer up underneath. Construction and layout of pockets, zippers….etc is well thought out. H2O proof for real. It has been a great plus to my elk hunt.
