Great boots, they slip on like a slipper and tighten right up with a few twists. Pop the boa and your foot slips right out. Easiest boots I have ever had taking on an off. Nice support and good grip on the ice.
Only negative so far is they don't come in a wide. I'm a 12.5 4E and had to order a 13.5 and still a bit tight side to side.

Bought the Alpha boots to replace an aging pair of Sorels. I liked the cobra lacing and the insulation. Wore them on my Kansas deer hunt. Very comfortable and provided excellent support when walking. I’ve had my Hillman boots for 3 years now and I wear them 4-5 days every week and walk miles in them. They are finally showing their age and I’ll need a new pair next year. For the average hunter who only wears these for a month out of the year, they’ll last 15-20 years if taken care of. I have to admit I have not taken the best care of them and they still went 3 plus years and probably over 1,000 miles in these boots training dogs, countless field trials and trips to Montana for pheasant hunting.
